Acrodermatitis continua (Hallopeau) in the skin of the thumb in an elderly male patient. This variant of psoriasis tends to be quite therapy-resistant. Often the best therapeutic success is achieved with methotrexate, but potent topical corticosteroids, oral tetracyclines and oral acitretin are worth trying.
