Gianotti-Crosti syndrome is a rapidly erupting skin rash especially in children, triggered by a viral, or more seldom by a bacterial infection. Reddish papules are seen on the skin in clusters or coalesced to form elevated patches. The skin is intact. There is no significant itching and the child is in good general condition.
